“Be great at what you do” – The LinkedIn Login Screen
February 16, 2012
If you have not noticed already when you login to LinkedIn.com, I am featured on the splash screen. Since my original blogpost for LinkedIn back in the Summer of 2009, it has been an exciting ride. I have been featured on LinkedIn’s Hall of Fame, Yahoo’s Blog, in the Examiner, CNN Money, MarketWatch and the Wall Street Journal. They even invited me as their guest to attend President Obama’s Town Hall Meeting on Jobs.
Social Networking, in it’s purest since, is all about establishing good Karma. You have to be unselfish and willing to assist others in reaching their goals. Eventually, the time will come when others may be in a position to assist you in reaching yours. A wise woman once said, “Service is the rent that you pay here on Earth.” This the motto that I live by. While I serve, I intend to be a social engineer, as opposed to the “parasite on humanity” as Charles Hamilton Houston so eloquently referred to decades ago. Will you join me? Let’s connect and rebuild our community with ethics, integrity, and collective progress for all.
If you want to make a difference in your professional life and your community,
please share amongst your network and let’s help our President rebuild America.
